spantail/spantail is now public on GitHub. Spantail — the open-source work log for teams of people and AI agents — is released.
The repository holds the whole core, MIT-licensed: time tracking for people, automatic capture of AI agent sessions, one unified timeline, and reports rendered from Markdown and Liquid templates. The CLI, the built-in MCP server, the Claude Plugin and the GitHub App are all in there, along with the documentation to set them up.
Getting started is a self-hosted deploy to your own Cloudflare account. The documentation at docs.spantail.com walks through the setup, step by step. Your work log stays on infrastructure you control, and one deployment serves one company.
